Jetting around Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown

If you are the extreme sports adrenaline-junkie adventurer type, Queenstown is your mecca. You can get great deals on bungee jumping, sky diving, ski jumping, jet boarding, paragliding, zip-lining and other activities that include throwing yourself off somewhere.

We couldn’t do any of those because we ran out of time obviously, not because we’re scaredy-cats or anything (pssshh!). The luge tracks in Skyline Queenstown were smaller compared to the ones in Skyline Rotorua. So on our last day, we decided to get on a boat and jet across lake Wakatipu in Queenstown.

The good thing about Queenstown is that there are a lot of shops that sell tour deals and if you look around a bit and bargain, you can get a lower price than the ones advertised.

The 1 hour boat ride was fast, windy and wet; but also a lot of fun. Although we caught a cold afterwards, because it was in the middle of winter.
