Driving from Franz Josef to Queenstown

The drive from Franz Josef to Queenstown is long, but passes through a beautiful coastline, picturesque lakes including lake Wanaka and awesome valleys. We stopped a lot along the way to take pictures. If you leave from Franz Josef in the morning, you can reach Queenstown by the evening, including multiple stops on the way.

Important note: The price of petrol will keep increasing as you drive down south from Auckland to Queenstown. So be smarter than us and fill up your car as north as you can.
